Well, it's not a post about my latest purchase or sale in the stock market (although there is a likely big purchase coming soon...but more on that next time). I thought I would share an offer Citibank Brokerage is offering since I thought it is a rather good deal.

Citibank Brokerage has slashed their minimum rates to SGD18 for internet rates. Phone rates (yes, you can call the phone trading officers to place a trade order if you do not have access to a computer) are at SGD28 minimum per contract.

The commission rates per contract (internet rates) are at 0.25% for contracts below SGD50,000, 0.20% for SGD50,000 to SGD100,000 and 0.18% for contracts above SGD100,000. In case you are thinking, the SGD18 will cover you till you trade above a SGD7,200 contract which is when the commission rate will rise above SGD18.

Quick Update:

Bought in China Taisan @15cents today.

Got to buy back Taisan @15cents again after selling it at 15.5cents previous. It went up to 17cents during the recent rally but came back down to 15cents again from the previous day 16cents. Hence, I am sticking to my policy that I have shared previously..

... buy in when stock drop more than 5%, and sell after hit 5-10% profit . In the month of May, I will think the stocks will take a dip after giving out their dividends. Hence, I would try to offload more holdings in April when the price is right....

Will continue to queue to buy Dapai @17.5cents, ISDN @15cents, Sinotel@27cents and China Environment@20cents.
